The DRM3 payments door. USDC on Base, settled per call, one ledger for every app.

x402 is how a machine pays for data. A program with no DRM3 account asks for a slice of the record, is told the price, pays it in USDC on Base, and gets the data. Each call settles on its own, right away, and the DRM3 ledger records every one.

A DRM3 app checks a payment against its own terms and then asks this door to settle it, using the app's own key. A program that asks this address for JSON instead of a web page gets the machine-readable description of the door.

The same ledger that meters accounts meters these payments, so a paid call and a credited call land in one record.
